February 8, 2021 - 4-H Seed Money Scholarship
Seed Money Scholarship
The Seed Money Scholarship is one $250 scholarship awarded to a Menominee County graduating senior involved in 4-H. Funds are provided by the Growing Gardens Together 4-H Club of Menominee County.
Selection Criteria
1. Candidates must be active members of 4-H for at least three years.
2. Candidates should demonstrate youth leadership.
3. Candidates should demonstrate active involvement in community service.
4. Candidates must provide proof of participation in 4-H in the form of a letter of reference, addressed to the Selection Committee, from the candidate's 4-H leader. Note: Your 4-H leader must include the following statement: "I verify that (your name) is currently a member of (name of club) and has been a member in good standing for at least three years."
5. Candidates may be required to participate in a personal interview with the Selection Committee.
6. All application materials must be submitted by March 1, 2021.
If selected, the recipient must provide proof of enrollment in a post-secondary educational program to receive payment.
The recipient has up to one year (by June 1 of the following year) to claim the scholarship.
