APRIL 17, 2020

A notice was published in Thursday, April 16, 2020 edition of The Menominee County Journal with the headline "Menominee County Boat Launches Closed" which incorrectly implies that boat launches and parks owned by Menominee County are closed.
All parks and boat launches owned by Menominee County remain open to the public for uses permitted under the ‘Stay Home, Stay Safe’ Executive Order 2020-42.

Menominee County owns the following parks and boat launches:

  • Airport Park
  • Bailey Park
  • Kleinke Park
  • Mason Park
  • River Park
  • Shakey Lakes Park
  • Stoney Point

No camping will be permitted in any campground owned by Menominee County until May 16, 2020 (subject to change if the ‘Stay Home, Stay Safe’ order is extended).
Menominee County Parks will not be accepting reservations as originally scheduled for April 27th. A new date that reservations will start being accepted for the 2020 camping season is MAY 18, 2020.

All patrons of Menominee County Parks are reminded to adhere to social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including remaining at least six feet from other park patrons.
