Remonumentation Committee is designed for the purpose to review the State Remonumentation Grant and Applications for each year. 

Each county shall establish a county monumentation and remonumentation plan. Not later than 1 year after January 1, 1991, the commission shall create and distribute a model county plan that may be adopted by a county with any changes appropriate for that county. Not later than January 1, 1994, each county shall have submitted a county plan that is approved by the commission.

The commission is designed by the following members appointed:  The committee meets one time per year for grant writing purposes and discussion of what areas the grant will cover within the county. 

• a Township Supervisor 
• a City Engineer 
• a Public Sponsor 
• a Road Commissioner 
• Planning Commission Chair 
• Register of Deeds 
• Equalization Dept. member 
• Prosecuting Attorney 
• and one County Board member (appointed annually) 

The County also contracts a County Surveyor to administer the Grant. Bill Lenca is the current contracted Surveyor. Jeff Lenca also is part of the surveyor team.
