Deed Record BookThe Register of Deeds office is where all deeds and mortgages of properties within Menominee County are filed. The Tract Index which is kept in this office's vault is a history of each parcel of land. It starts with the first acquisition of land deeded from the United States government to the first settler or buyer. It then lists all deed/mortgage transactions recorded on the parcel of land from then to the present day.

There is internet access available through the Land Records link. Viewing or printing these records can be done by subscribing for the service.

Tax liens, Sheriff's deeds and U.C.C.'s are also filed in this office. A record of all the County Board meetings - the Book of Minutes - is kept on record in the Register's vault. This is a log of all the activities, motions and resolutions to name a few, from the earliest days of Menominee County as a new government entity.
