Building Permits

Building Permits are required for the following:

Construction other than detached accessory structure "under" 200 sqft (residential) or 120 sqft (non-residential) 
  • Demolition of a structure
  • Moved Structures/Manufactured Home
  • New Dwellings
  • Additions
  • Fences if above 6' or higher; Retaining walls 4' or higher; Pools 2' or more deep; Signs/Marquee
  • Decks/Porch/Foundations Only; Lean-To/Carport
  • Garages/Accessory Buildings
  • Additional Floors/Loft/Attic
Building Permits are not required for siding, maintenance, minor repairs or finish work.
