Building Code Department assures compliance with all current State Construction laws, Rules and Codes.     

Duties of this office include:

• Assisting homeowners and contractors in applying for permits. 
• Review drawings/plans to ensure code compliance before construction begins. 
• Issue permits after drawings are approved and fee is payed. 
• Perform on-site inspections to ensure code compliance with approved drawings and building codes. 
• Issue notices for violations of building codes.
• Issue Certificate of Use Occupancy for completed projects.
