County AdministratorThe Department of Administration provides executive leadership, strategic direction, and daily administrative oversight for county government operations. Working closely with the County Board, elected officials, department heads, and community partners, the office ensures that county services are delivered efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with established policies and priorities.

The County Administrator serves as the Chief Administrative Officer & Chief Financial Officer of the County and is responsible for implementing County Board policies, managing county operations, overseeing the annual budget process, and coordinating services across departments. The office promotes fiscal responsibility, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in service delivery.

  • Implement policies and directives established by the County Board
  • Oversee daily operations of county departments
  • Develop and administer the annual county budget
  • Provide leadership in strategic planning and organizational development
  • Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives and special projects
  • Support labor relations and personnel administration
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Represent the County in meetings with government agencies, community organizations, and the public
