MCRC public meeting to discuss
2026 River Road (CR581) project in Menominee Township.
The Menominee County Road Commission invites the public to its regularly scheduled November Board meeting to discuss an upcoming 2026 project on River Road (County Road 581) in Menominee Township. During this meeting, there will be a brief presentation followed by a public comment period.

ROAD SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
COUNTY CHIP SEALING PILOT PROGAM - 2024

COUNTY / TOWNSHIP ARPA ROAD PROGRAM
With the support of the Menominee County Road Commission and through a collaborative effort between all 14 Menominee Townships, the County Board of Menominee County earmarked $750,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funds to be distributed over a 3-year program period to all townships for use on local roads. The program has been a huge success in providing much needed revenue to go towards the local road system. Below are summaries of each year’s program:

ROAD COMMISSION - COMPLETED ROAD/BRIDGE IMPROVEMENTS
The Menominee County Road Commission strives to provide cost-efficient and high-quality road services to keep our County roads safe and passable. With limited transportation funds, our primary objective is winter and summer road maintenance. The Road Commission utilizes any additional funding to match Federal-Aid, to partner with Townships on Road & Bridge improvement projects, and to maintain its fleet. Below are examples of road and bridge work completed in years past.
