The Menominee County 911 (Central Dispatch) Communications Center will remain operational during the current COVID-19 situation. As always, if you have an emergency, please call 9-1-1.
Dispatcher questions regarding COVID-19
If the dispatcher believes you have potential symptoms synonymous with COVID-19 at your location, they may be asking a few questions such as:
Is anyone there sick? If so, what are some of the symptoms?
Is anyone there COVID-19 positive?
Has anyone there been exposed to someone with known COVID-19?
Please be patient with the dispatchers as they are gathering information concerning your situation. The COVID-19 Pandemic has altered the procedures for Public Safety responders and necessary precautions are being taken to help prevent the unwanted spread of the virus. The precautions and follow-on questions will not slow down the dispatching of your emergency response.
