Stoney Point is a public boat launch located miles north of Menominee on State Route M-35.
In 2015 Menominee County received a Grant to help offset the cost of dredging the launch to ease the launching of boats into Lake Michigan. Also in 2016 a new launch pad was put into place.
This boat launch offers plenty of parking, pit toilet, fish cleaning station, plus a Magnificent view of the lake.
To use the park and boat launch, there is a $5 daily fee or an annual park pass can be purchased at the courthouse and online at Menominee County Parks.
