Communications Center
The Menominee County 911 Emergency Communications Center (Central Dispatch) was established in 1996 and consists of 9 full-time dispatchers and 1 Director. Our Center is the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for 9-1-1 calls and texts placed in Menominee County. Dispatching is provided for law enforcement, fire departments, emergency medical services, and other public safety agencies in Menominee County. All of our staff are certified Emergency Medical Dispatchers and provide pre-arrival instructions until help arrives.

The 911 Center not only processes emergency 9-1-1 calls and text messages, but also non-emergency calls that may require public safety responders to be dispatched for service. The 911 staff handles dispatching for all of Menominee County, to include all Cities, Townships, Villages, and the Hannahville Indian Community.
