MISSION STATEMENT: NorthCare Network ensures that every eligible recipient receives quality specialty Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Services and Support through the responsible management of regional resources
NorthCare Network’s Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services are services provided to assist residents of the Upper Peninsula in obtaining SUD treatment.
An alcohol and chemical dependency is recognized as a primary, chronic, and progressive disease that can be successfully treated with appropriate identification and treatment.
NorthCare Network’s role is to assess the appropriate level of care needed, recommend treatment services, and refer the individual to a participating SUD Provider.
The SUD Policy Board is comprised of one delegate appointed by the Board of Commissioners in each of the fifteen Upper Peninsula counties.
