Description
Public Health of Delta and Menominee Counties is dedicated to promote policies to continually and diligently endeavor to prevent disease, prolong life, and promote the public health through organized programs, including prevention and control of environmental health hazards; prevention and control of diseases; prevention and control of health problems of particular vulnerable population groups; and development of health services delivery systems to the extent provided by law to the people in Delta and Menominee Counties by acting in a manner consistent with this purpose. Special attention and priority is to be given to endeavors that promote primary prevention (preventing the occurrence of disease or injury before it occurs.)
