General Information

Multiple Ice Jams are forming along the Menominee River, below is a list of what is currently being reported. If you notice life threatening changes to river levels please contact Central Dispatch/911 and seek higher ground if able. Do not drive through flooded areas, the road beneath my be unstable. "Turn around, don't drown" Monitor NWS for changes to conditions. Report damage to Emergency Management at the contact points provided below.

Warning: 12/15/17 8:53am Minor flooding is expected near the Pembine river gauge, most likely being caused by an ice jam on the river. Level was at 15.5ft, which is minor flood stage. Please monitor NWS for updates or use the web links below and follow the included instructions below.

Advisory: River is at action stage near the Koss bridge. Some Flooding reported on Number 19 road.

River Drive residents have reported high water levels and low land flooding due to the ice jams.

If you are fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, wading, swimming, etc. along the river be extra cautious. When the dams have to rapidly open there will be a surge of water that follows.
